Dr. Halloran Marks Seventh Year as Head
Trustees, families, and alumni gathered on the Halloran Center lawn Friday afternoon to mark Dr. Margaret A. Halloran’s seventh year as Head of School. Board Chair Elizabeth Whitfield offered brief remarks, followed by tributes from parent representative Robert McCallum and alumnus Grace Aldercott ’11.
Under Dr. Halloran’s leadership, Ridgemont has grown from 118 to 142 students, completed the Halloran Science & Maker Center, expanded the Outdoor Program to every grade, and launched the school’s first endowment campaign, now approaching $5 million.
“It has been the honor of my career to serve this community,” Dr. Halloran said. “The work — knowing every child, every day — remains as clear and as joyful as the day I arrived.”
